Im A Honda Driving Soccer Dad For Real

Being a single parent to a couple of 5 year old twin boys isn't exactly a leisurely walk in a park. Most notably so seeing that its little league soccer season all over again. This year yours truly is the man in charge for getting the team's kit produced.

Being one of only three guys among 13 women in our team's committee, it was quite a challenge to get the majority to agree not to change the team's jersey color from red to a color I've never even heard off. But try as we might, we were not met with success to change the team name to The Red Warlocks from The Red Flamingos.

After sourcing for uniforms, and believe it or not - team sponsors, it came to my attention that our children's soccer team did not even have its very own logo. I raised this issue with the other 2 dads and we decided that it would be a wonderful idea if we had our own team emblem. So we agreed to draw up a logo prototype each and present them to the committee.

All three of us convened the coming weekend with our designs and broke out in hysterical laughter, before we realized that non of us could design to save our lives. As it seems my Flamingo took on the look of a Woodpecker on steroids. The designs from the other two weren't that much better. One can potentially pass for a piece by Picasso and the other looked like bored doodlings from a hapless victim of a 6 hour long department meeting. But we went forward and displayed the design drafts to the committee nevertheless.

Though the committee collectively barred the three of us from designing anything for the club unless there is a blue moon, they did come to agreement that the team should certainly have its own logo. So I excitedly went back and conducted a search for logo design kuwait, did some checking and picked a few the better spoken of design agencies and suggested them to the committee.

Now we are happy to report that our soccer team has, after all this time, got its very own team logo. We had badges made for the jerseys and team stickers produced just for fun - thanks to a little sponsorship we got from the ice cream shop next to the park. The team logo itself ended up looking very cool with a an unabashedly red Flamingo standing on one leg while the other is resting on a soccer ball looking like the real deal.

Rumor has it that next year I'll be in charge of refreshments. I'm considering taking it a step further and am already thinking about a presentation to Gatorade about a sponsorship deal.
